Libraries remain open, programs canceled through March 31

The Sacramento Public Library system issued a statement regarding coronavirus policy this afternoon.

Following the release of new state guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have made the decision to cancel library programs and outreach through the end of March. No new meeting room reservations will be accepted at this time.

Currently, all library locations remain open to the public, along with digital services, which will continue to be available 24/7.

We are working closely with city and county authorities and with our school partners to keep our community informed. We will provide regular updates through our website and social media outlets as new information is available.

We will continue to keep you updated should any changes occur. As always, thank you for doing your part.

As we look toward 2023, your generous support empowers us to make a difference in your life and community, from investigative reporting that holds people accountable to human interest stories that connect major events to the impact felt throughout our communities. It only takes a minute to support RLM and help keep our public service accessible to all.
