The latest NCN is available, yet not listed on the website. I wonder why? Vivien does a nice job with the homey, country garden type tips and such, but the fish wrap is constantly filled with half-truths and incomplete stories.
I would encourage everyone who cares the least bit about Rio Linda continuing as a smalltown community to ask any business that carries the NCN or advertises in the NCN to stop those activities.
Vivien can see the end of the water district coming, and now she’s dead set on taking down the Elverta school district as well.
You can find it at http://www.ncnews328.com/NCNewsOctober2010.pdf

I’m not sure, Carol… You mean the Parks and Rec basketball league? I know there are a few Parks and Rec people who frequent this website so we’ll find out together. Thanks for writing!
Actually, our league will start around Jan/Feb. Signups should be in December. The flyers will go out to the schools and some community business’ around, and of course here at the Community Center. I will try and keep you posted as I hear of things.
