From California Assemblymember Kevin McCarty:
It is important to ensure that our families have access to safe and clean drinking water.
Recently, the Rio Linda/Elverta Community Water District, serving approximately 4,600 customers in the Rio Linda and Elverta area, found elevated levels of contaminants in their water supply.
To ensure the health and safety of our residents, I am hosting a town hall with members from the Rio Linda/Elverta Community Water District and the California State Water Board. Through this town hall, residents will hear from stakeholders regarding the status of their drinking water and necessary actions being taken to ensure access to safe and clean tap water.
Join us for this important town hall:
Thursday, August 13
6:00—7:30 p.m.
Rio Linda Public Library
631 L Street
Rio Linda, CA 95673
Please join your neighbors to learn about the quality of your drinking water and what is being done to make sure it is safe.
