There is a vacancy available on the Rio Linda/Elverta CPAC, which means there are opportunities to guide planning and development in our community.
The purpose of the RLE CPAC is to participate in the planning process and to review and propose community goals and objectives.
This council is located within the boundaries of the 1st and 4th Supervisorial Districts. There is a new seat eligible to be filled by a resident of the area due to the resignation of Suzie MacDonald.
(Typically this body is composed of five members and the new CPAC guidelines call for up to seven. The most recent Board of Supervisors packet says there is one seat to be filled but only lists three current members. This issue is being sorted with Sac County currently and will be clarified asap.)
The application filing period will be from 12/21/20 to 1/1/21 and will be considered by the Board of Supervisors on 1/12/21.
For further information concerning the functions of this council, please contact Stephanie Townsend at (916) 874-8022.
(Persons appointed by the board of supervisors shall be required to file a financial disclosure statement and take a two-hour ethics training course for local officials.)
Thanks to Ken Benedict for the screengrab.
