I was always very sorry that I gave up the “myriolinda.com” website… I think the community could be served better (online) than has been done in the past. A few weeks ago I ran across a community website that’s set up for a town in Washington state. In particular, the events handling and subjects matter was outstanding. It inspired me to give it one more try…
So here it is. Riolindaonline.com.
Please excuse the dust, as I continue to build the site out, but I think I’ve stumbled upon a format that’s easy to read and use, sustainable in content, and a great concept for a small community website.
I’ve always said that Rio Linda and Elverta are more like Mayberry than anyone really knows and I aim to perpetuate that opinion here.
So Welcome! Please come in, and please come often.
Please help support local journalism.
Now more than ever, the survival of local journalism depends on your support. Our community faces unprecedented economic disruption, and the future of many small businesses is under threat, including our own. It takes time and resources to provide this service. We are a small family-owned operation, and we will do everything in our power to keep it going. But today more than ever before, we will depend on your support to continue.
